Privacy Policy

LIMBA Company

LIMBA attaches particular importance to respecting the privacy of users visiting our website. Data collected in log files is used solely and exclusively for the purposes of website administration. No identification data is transferred to any third party for any purpose. Data confidentiality may only be waived for evidentiary purposes or at the request of appropriate state authorities.

Data Collection

In accordance with the accepted practice of most websites, we store HTTP requests directed to our server. This means the Administrator knows the public IP addresses from which users browse the information content of our service. Resources viewed are identified by URLs. We also record:

  • The time the request arrived,

  • The time the response was sent,

  • The client station name,

  • Information about errors that occurred during the HTTP transaction,

  • The URL of the page previously visited by the user (referrer link) — if the transition to the LIMBA Portal occurred via a link,

  • Information about the user’s browser.

This data is not associated with specific individuals browsing the portal pages. To ensure the highest quality of service, we occasionally analyze log files to determine which pages are visited most often, which web browsers are used, whether the site structure contains errors, etc.

Direct Contact with LIMBA

It is possible to contact LIMBA employees directly via email using the correspondence addresses available on the website. LIMBA stores correspondence with its customers for statistical purposes and to ensure the best and fastest response to inquiries. We guarantee that addresses collected in this way will not be used for communication with the customer for purposes other than those specified by them. Any communication regarding other matters may only take place with the customer’s prior consent.

Use of Data

Collected logs are stored for an indefinite period as auxiliary material used to administer the service. The information contained therein is not disclosed to anyone other than the Network Administrator. Statistics helping with administration may be generated based on log files. Aggregate summaries in the form of such statistics do not contain any features identifying visitors to the service.
